Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This site (delilahfaber.com) is operated by C4G Productions ("we", "us"), publisher of the author Delilah Faber. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe, we store your email address, and — for security and abuse-prevention — the approximate technical details of the request (IP address, browser/user-agent, and the page you came from).
- Email you send us. If you reply to a newsletter or write to [email protected], we store the message, any attachments, and your sender details so we can read and respond.
- Newsletter engagement. So we can understand what readers find useful and improve future issues, we measure engagement with the emails we send you: whether (and when) an email is opened — via a small, invisible image (a "pixel") in the message — and which links you click, through a redirect on our own domain. This is linked to your subscription. It is first-party measurement only: we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site analytics trackers, and we never sell or share this data. You can prevent open-tracking by disabling images in your email client, and unsubscribing stops all engagement tracking.
2. Cookies
Browsing this website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or third-party analytics trackers, so there is no cookie banner. The site may keep a small preference in your browser's local storage — for example, to remember that you dismissed an announcement banner; this stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is never sent to us. (Engagement measurement in the newsletter emails we send is described in section 1.)
3. Why we use your information & our legal basis
- To send the newsletter you asked for — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site and mailings — on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a functioning, non-abused service.
- To correspond with you when you email us.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of service providers ("processors") to run the site:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, database, and email routing (privacy policy).
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) — sending our newsletter emails (privacy policy).
When we publish posts to social media (e.g. Bluesky, X), only the content we choose to post is shared — never your subscriber data.
5. Where your data is processed
Our providers process data in the United States. If you are in the EU/UK, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US under the providers' standard safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your subscription data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Emails you send us are kept until we delete them. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You will never be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
You can:
- Unsubscribe instantly using the link in any newsletter, or manage your subscription on the preferences page linked there.
- Contact us for any access, correction, or deletion request at [email protected].
8. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), the administrative dashboard is password-protected, and stored credentials are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above when we do.
